I’m Anna!

I’m a twenty-four years old German Girl, a wife, daughter, sister, hopeless animal lover, and currently living in Istanbul. 

So let me ask and tell you something about this blog:

Do you love to travel and you are eager to discover beautiful new spots that our world has to offer? Then you’ve come to the right place! 

The name of my blog says it all! 'Travel hunger' is a pun because I do not know how you feel.... but I am hungry to travel, hungry for new adventures!

I believe the world is too big to stay in just one place and one of the mottos I live for is:

“Have stories to tell, not stuff to show.” 

With this blog, I want to motivate you, get you out of that little shell you are hiding in, and I want to show you some beautiful places I visited and highly recommend. Don’t use any excuses any more, pack that backpack and put one foot in front of the other. Always remember:

Be a traveler, not a tourist. 

Start your journey on your doorstep.

For me traveling is the most beautiful way to spend money and still get richer, because it means crossing boundaries, especially your own. If one thing is clear, your life begins at the end of your comfort zone. We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us. 

So what’s stopping you from buying that plane ticket or going on that bus or ship? 

.. because if you never go, you will never know - right? ;-)
